2. Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Replit, Inc. (USA). When you visit it, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referrer and browser information. This is needed to deliver the website securely and reliably (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are only kept as long as necessary for this purpose. For transfers to the USA we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
3. Audience measurement with PostHog — without cookies
To understand which pages are helpful and how often people continue to the App Store or Google Play, we use PostHog (PostHog Inc.) with servers in the EU (Frankfurt). We don't set cookies or store anything on your device; each page view is counted on its own, without a profile across visits. We process: the page visited, the referrer, device type and browser, an approximate region derived from the IP address, and clicks on store buttons and ticked ideas.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a clear, useful website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, no measurement takes place. You can object to the processing at any time by email.
4. Storage in your browser
If you tick something off on an ideas page or close the language hint, the website remembers it in your browser's storage (localStorage). This information never leaves your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
5. Fonts and images
Fonts and images are served from our own server. Loading the website makes no requests to Google Fonts or other third parties for them.
6. Links to the App Store and Google Play
You only leave our website when you click such a link. The privacy policies of Apple or Google then apply.
7. Contacting us by email
If you write to us, we process your details to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Just write to office@momentmal.net. You can also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at).
